The other main grape in this area is ALBANA, for which a new vignette was planted dedicated to the production of a sweet wine with the principle characteristics being refinement and elegance, according to the French method which focuses on permitting the grapes to dry while still on the vine the while being effected by “noble rot” while harvesting from October to November; this way, if the ideal weather conditions are present, it is possible to obtain grapes of extraordinary complexity and richness with particular aromas. The same vineyard now also produces a dry Albana wine.
